While the likelihood of mistakes happening with your order an is incredibly slim, it’s worth knowing what to look for and how to resolve if it does.

MISSING ITEMS

In the very unlikely event that you find something missing, DON’T PANIC! There is usually a logical explanation for it.

  • SHORTED ITEMS – First, check to see if it is listed as a shorted item. This can be found under the “on back order” heading on your invoice. These are items that were not in stock at the time that your order was invoiced and so you were not charged for it.

    In cases where you made a pre-payment for your order, but find the product was out of stock, your invoice will have a credit balance reflecting at the “Total Available” heading.  This portion of the payment you made will be allocated to your next order you place.

Solution: nothing! The item will automatically be sent to you with the next order you place, provided it in stock at that time.

  • FORGOTTEN ITEM – If it’s not under your shorted items list, you may have forgotten to order it.  You can verify this by logging in to your Justine or Avon back office website, select order tracking from the menu and click the order number.  This will list the items as it was originally captured.

Solution: Add that product code to your the next order you place.

Be sure to place the order in the same campaign, as the product may not be available to order afterwards.  this would be in the case of special bundle offers & limited edition items.
  • PRODUCT NOT PACKED – If you find that you have been charged for an item that is not in the box, you will then complete a “Not In Box” claim.  While this rarely happens, as boxes are checked before they are sealed, it’s important to know what to do in this case.
    (PS – I’ve only had this happen once since I joined)

Solution: Complete a “Not in Box” claim and the amount you were charged will be reversed.

INCORRECT CHARGES

  • PRODUCT NOT CHARGED AT SPECIAL PRICE IN BROCHURE – If you find that the price in your invoice is not as per the special price in the brochure, it’s very likely that you did not use the correct code when placing your order.  Often times consultants and reps insert the code for all the individual items in a bundle offer, instead of the special code reflecting on the page, as in this example.

Solution: Return the items and re-order using the correct code.

  • FREE ITEM IS CHARGED FOR – In this case, its likely that you included the code for the FREE item in your order, and received the FREE item as well. So you have another one of the same product invoiced on your account.  If the brochure states that the free item will automatically be included, you should not add the code, as the system is programmed to invoice all codes you include in your order, unless otherwise stated in the brochure.

Solution: Return the items to the warehouse for a credit to your account.

  • DID NOT GET FREE ITEM – In this case, its likely that you did not indicate which item you wanted free. Where the brochure page indicates CHOOSE your free item, you will need to specify the code of the free item you require.

Solution: Contact the service desk via email or the helpline (0860102345), and request the item code to be added to your back order.  This will be sent with the next order you place.

CONCLUSION

If none of the above addresses your issue with regard to your order, it’s best to contact the service desk directly and request assistance.

Expect that you will likely run into some frustrations in your business at some point, especially at the beginning as you’re learning. But your mindset and how you handle it will make all the difference to the longevity of your business.
